Privacy policy

Last updated:

This policy explains how Yahte handles personal data when you browse listings, create an account, contact advertisers, apply for jobs or purchase a subscription.

Who handles your data

Yahte's operator handles data needed to run the platform. Contact us using the contact page linked below for privacy questions or requests. Advertisers and employers who receive your inquiry or application handle that information for their own purposes; ask them about their privacy practices before sharing additional information.

Data we process

We process account and profile details such as name, email, phone, profile image and language; listing content, uploaded media, inquiries, reviews and job applications; billing identity, address, orders and payment references; and technical information such as IP address, browser, access logs and activity on listings. Only provide information you are entitled to share.

Purposes and legal grounds

Account management, publishing, inquiries, applications and paid features require processing to provide the service you request. Billing records may be processed to meet legal obligations. Security, fraud prevention, troubleshooting and service improvement may rely on legitimate interests, subject to your rights. Where consent is required, including for optional marketing, you may withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing.

Public profiles and recipients

Published listings, reviews and public profile fields are visible to other visitors. Inquiries and applications are shared with the advertiser or employer you select. Hosting, email, technical support and payment providers process information necessary to deliver their services. Information may also be disclosed where required by law. Yahte does not receive or store your full payment card number or security code; those are entered on the payment provider's hosted page.

Storage, security and transfers

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal record-keeping requirements and resolve disputes. Retention depends on the type of information and purpose. We use access controls and other technical and organizational safeguards. If a provider processes data outside your country, applicable transfer requirements and safeguards must be observed.

Your choices and rights

You can update profile details and privacy settings in your account. Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, and object to certain processing. Some records must be retained under legal obligations. Contact us to exercise your rights; identity verification may be needed. You may complain to the competent data protection authority.

Cookies and changes

Cookies and similar storage support sign-in, language preferences and referral attribution. Analytics or marketing tools may also be enabled. See the cookie policy for details and browser controls. Updates to this policy are published on this page.
